About the Series
Walking with Dinosaurs returns. Twenty-five years after it first broadcast to critical and audience acclaim, this new series will showcase the lives of six incredible dinosaurs.
Episode 1: The Orphan. In the rocky hills of Montana lie the bones of one of the most famous dinosaurs – Triceratops. But these are the bones of a juvenile Triceratops, an incredibly rare find.
Episode 2: The River Dragon. Amid the sands of the Sahara Desert in Morocco, we witness the bones of a Spinosaurus emerge from the ground – the largest predatory dinosaur of them all, several meters longer than the iconic T. Rex.
Episode 3: Band of Brothers. Among the red rock canyons of Utah, the bones of an armored giant covered in thick armored plates and deadly spikes are being lifted. We reveal the tale of a pack of young Gastonia, not yet able to defend themselves, trying to evade the claws of Utahraptor, a predator with lethal claws, jaws full of sharp teeth and fearsome intelligence.
Episode 4: The Pack. In the Badlands of Alberta, a dig team is making stunning discoveries about Albertosaurus. These dinosaurs look like a smaller version of T. Rex, but evidence suggests they are faster, hunting in terrifying packs.
Episode 5: The Journey North. Deep in the forested mountains of Canada, one of the largest herds of dinosaurs ever discovered is being uncovered. The remains of hundreds of Pachyrhinosaurus, a relative of Triceratops, have been discovered together.
Episode 6: Island of Giants. In the olive groves of Portugal, the bones of a giant have been discovered – a Lusotitan, one of the largest dinosaurs ever to live in Europe.
